The Sounds-Write face-to-face course is an intensive and practical experience delivered over four days by your trainer, Alison Perry. You will enjoy uninterrupted time to learn the theory, knowledge and skills needed to deliver the program. Through a combination of instruction, demonstration, and hands-on practice, you’ll leave ready to implement the program immediately.

Upon completing the four-day workshop, you will revise and consolidate your training with an online assessment. This takes around two hours to complete, and you will have four weeks to do so. Extensive post-training support is available to assist with implementing the program in the short and long term.

Venue: Springfield Central State School (257 Grande Avenue, Springfield Central QLD 4300). Parking available.

Time
8:30am – 3:30pm each day

Tea, coffee, morning tea and lunch are provided. Dietary requirements can be accommodated.

How is the online training different to the face-to-face training?

The learning objectives are the same for both courses. All participants also receive the Sounds-Write manual. The face-to-face training is delivered over four days, where the online training is mostly self-paced and delivered over six weeks.

Participants find both methods highly effective, so your decision comes down to location and personal preference.

Are there any assessment tasks?

Your participation during the 4 days is observed and recorded by your trainer as part of the course's assessment. There is also an online assessment that must be completed within 4 weeks of completing your course to receive a certificate.

The online assessment process provides an excellent opportunity to revise and consolidate the course content.

What is included in my registration fee?

You will receive a copy of the Sounds-Write manual and training handouts. Tea, coffee, morning tea and a light lunch is provided each day. Dietary requirements are always taken into consideration where possible.

You will also get LIFETIME access to the Sounds-Write Practitioner's Portal: an online hub with resources, interactive activities and professional development videos and webinars.

In addition, each participant receives a free place in a future 'Sounds-Write Revisited' online course (an online refresher course).
