Always Was, Always Will Be.

Soundality acknowledges and pays respect to the traditional owners and custodians of Country throughout Australia, including the Turrbal people, the traditional owners of the land we live, learn and work on.

'Always Was, Always Will Be.' recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Traditional Place Names in Addresses

Soundality is getting behind Gomeroi Woman, Rachael McPhail’s campaign to see Australians include traditional Indigenous place names in addresses.

We recognise that Australia always was and always will be Aboriginal land and we hope this action encourages the wider community to learn more about Indigenous culture, history and language.

Please consider taking a moment to add the traditional place name to your address when completing your order. You can find your traditional place name by referring to the AIATSIS Map of Indigenous Australia.

Rachael also recommends speaking to the Elders or lands council of a community for traditional place name information as there currently isn’t a comprehensive and accurate record of names for all locations.

Australia Post fully supports this initiative.
