The Sounds-Write face-to-face course is an intensive and practical experience delivered over four days, over four consecutive weeks, by your trainer, Alison Perry. You will enjoy uninterrupted time to learn the theory, knowledge and skills needed to deliver the program. You will have the opportunity to see the Sounds-Write lessons demonstrated and practice delivering them with other participants so that you can immediately implement the program upon completion of the course.
Venue: Grand Avenue State School (105 Grand Avenue, Forest Lake QLD 4078)
Course Dates:
Day 1: Tuesday 30th April
Day 2: Tuesday 7th May
Day 3: Tuesday 14th May
Day 4: Tuesday 21st May
Times: The workshop will begin at 8:30am SHARP and end at 3:00pm each day. There will be a 15-minute break for morning tea, and a 20-minute break for lunch. Tea, coffee, morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Dietary requirements will be catered for- please share details below if relevant.

How is the online training different to the face-to-face training?
How is the online training different to the face-to-face training?
The learning objectives are the same for both courses. All participants also receive the Sounds-Write manual. The face-to-face training is delivered over four days, where the online training is mostly self-paced and delivered over six weeks.
Participants find both methods highly effective, so your decision comes down to location and personal preference.

Your participation during the 4 days is observed and recorded by your trainer as part of the course's assessment. There is also an online assessment that must be completed within 4 weeks of completing your course to receive a certificate.
The online assessment process provides an excellent opportunity to revise and consolidate the course content.

Currently, due to commitments to her young family, Alison is only available to present in the Brisbane region. Venue details will be shared once registrations are open. Workshops are held onsite at schools or in function centres.

Registration in the Sounds-Write Practitioners’ Training is $1089 (including GST).
You will receive a copy of the Sounds-Write manual and training handouts. Tea, coffee, morning tea and a light lunch is provided each day. Dietary requirements are always taken into consideration where possible.
You will also get LIFETIME access to the Sounds-Write Practitioner's Portal: an online hub with resources, interactive activities and professional development videos and webinars.
In addition, each participant receives a free place in a future 'Sounds-Write Revisited' online course (an online refresher course).
